Sea Moss, also known as Irish Sea Moss, is a type of seaweed found along the Atlantic Coast of Europe and North America. It earned the name "Irish Sea Moss" during the Potato famine in Ireland, when people harvested and ate it for its health benefits. In addition to being rich in nutrients, Sea Moss is believed to have restorative properties at a cellular level. It is known for containing Carrageenans, which are thought to repair DNA, protect cells from damage, and potentially prevent major diseases like cancer.
